SyncEvolution synchronizes personal information management (PIM) data like contacts, calenders, tasks and memos via the SyncML information synchronization standard.
I started with it in 2005 based on the Funambol C++ client
library. For three years I maintained and released it as a
spare-time project. In 2009, my employee, Intel, took an interest
in the project and I started to work on it full time. It migrated
to the Synthesis SyncML engine and several other developers also
began working on it, so today all documentation and downloads
about it can be found on a separate web
